Volunteer Adventures

Wildlife Training Adventures offers volunteers the ultimate African experience. Our wide range of projects offer the adventurous individual, the chance to take part in valuable and rewarding hands-on conservation and community work, which provides a sustainable future for important ecosystems in South Africa. The opportunities to change lives are endless.

At Wildlife Training Adventures volunteers will have the opportunity to experience 4 programmes in one, where you will get “the best of all worlds” through us.

We combine African wildlife conservation, community work, introductory ranger course and basic anti-poaching training programmes all in one trip, we also combined all this with adventure tours where the volunteers get the chance to enjoy and experience some fun activities in our area.

Our program run for 4 or 6 weeks giving volunteers the opportunity to become involved in a wide variety of long and short term projects. We offer a diverse experience that exposes participants to real issues and tasks in the bush, with the chance to make a sustainable and positive difference through their participation and development.

Africa is full of diverse and beautiful people and culture. Unfortunately, as a result of poverty, many of these people live in appalling conditions and face daily challenges. Wildlife Training Adventure seeks to alleviate some of these challenges by implementing and supporting community projects. Volunteers will help create a brighter future for children and adults in disadvantaged communities. We will focus on AIDS/HIV awareness programs, community uplifting, skills development programs, sports coaching and development, wellness program, soup kitchen programs, creating and maintaining vegetable gardens, painting classrooms and building jungle gyms, litter removal and recycling programs. Volunteers will also assist at under-staffed and under-resourced pre-schools by planning lessons, teaching classes, run educational after-school programs, working with disadvantaged orphaned and vulnerable children in the community.  Volunteers will be spending time in local communities working directly with the people and experience the culture of the area.

Africa is home to some of the world’s most incredible and fascinating wildlife. Unfortunately with the ever increasing number of animals being poached, the wildlife population is dropping drastically all over Africa. Our wildlife needs as much of our help as possible. Our aim is to try and preserve and protect what nature we have left.   Wildlife conservation activities in Africa include wildlife research projects, game identification and counts, assist the veterinarian (when necessary), game tracking, bush rehabilitation, game drives, bush walks.

These projects are run with the help of committed volunteers and are ideal for those wishing to spend some time traveling abroad while making a difference in the lives of others, may it be human or animal.

Our program also includes some exciting and fun activities including, camping under the African sky, participating in an amazing bush race, experiencing the thrill of 4×4 driving and also learn how to survive in the wild just to name a few.

The evenings are at leisure with a few games played. Saturdays are reserved for a town trips where volunteers can eat out at local restaurants and visit all the sites of the local towns. Sundays are time off.

A wildlife conservation, community, introductory ranger course and basic anti-poaching program are the ultimate life changing and rewarding experience.

Come and experience the magic Africa has to offer.
